There are more than 2000 cases of coronavirus in 45 different countries on the African continent. All of the worst affected countries have taken various measures to control the spread of the virus, but as seen all over the world, the only effective way to slow down COVID-19 is to isolate everyone to give a chance to fight the health system. One of the biggest challenges that present itself in Africa is that there are huge, densely populated cities where people live in incredibly tight neighborhoods and often find no place of their own. These conditions support the rapid spread of viruses and make them almost impossible to capture. Most health systems in the African continent are poorly equipped to deal with a productive outbreak, as evidenced by COVID-9, and many health professionals are afraid of what will happen.

All data of confirmed cases and deaths were from Wednesday, March 25th. Numbers change rapidly as countries run more tests.
