Wentworth Miller is an American actor, model, screenwriter and producer. He became famous for having played the role of Michael Scofield in the television series Prison Break, he recently joined the cast of the telefilm “The Flash”.

His is a multi-ethnic family: his father has Afro-American, Jamaican, English, German, Jewish and Cherokee descent, while his mother has Russian, French, Dutch, Syrian, Lebanese and Swedish origins. He grew up in Brooklyn, where he attended Midwood High School and began to cultivate a passion for the stage. He becomes a member of SING !, a music production organized annually by his school. After completing high school, he enrolled at Princeton University , where he graduated in English Literature. During his university years he joined the a capella Princeton Tigertones choir and became a member of the Quadrangle Club and Colonial Club theater groups.
In 1995, after university, Wentworth Miller moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Success thanks to the TV series
The professional breakthrough took place in 2005 when he was chosen as the star of the FOX TV series “Prison Break” . Wentworth Miller thus becomes Michael Scofield, a brilliant engineer who gets himself arrested to help his brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), escape from the death row of Fox River prison convinced of his innocence. His performance will earn him a 2006 Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.

Also in 2013 the actor refused the invitation to the International Film Festival of St. Petersburg because he was disturbed by the homophobic laws in force in Russia, thus declaring himself to be homosexual. In 2014 the release of “The Loft” is scheduled, a remake of the original Belgian film “Loft” by Erik Van Looy, in which Miller plays one of the protagonists. The story follows five married men who co-own an apartment where they secretly receive their lovers. When the body of a woman is found in the apartment, the suspicions immediately fall on the five owners of the house, who begin to accuse each other of the crime.
