President Donald Trump on Thursday approached Syria to discharge independent writer Austin Tice, who worked for McClatchy and different news associations and has been absent since 2012.

“We trust the Syrian government will do that. We are relying on them to do that. We’ve composed a letter just as of late,” Trump said toward the beginning of a press preparation on the coronavirus pandemic.
