Matthew Paige Damon was born in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA) on October 8th, 1970, to a banker father and mother teacher of pedagogy.
From a very young age he is linked to his friend Ben Affleck , with whom he attends schools; and with his friend he will win the Oscar for best screenplay with the film ” Will Hunting – Genio ribelle ” (1997). With this film Matt Damon also gets a nomination for best actor; together with the two boys there is also Robin Williams , awarded as best supporting actor.
Young Matt achieves excellent results in studies that allow him to be admitted to Harvard University. It is during this period that he writes the script of “Will Hunting”. He will leave Harvard after three years to devote himself totally to cinema.
