Benjamin Edward Stiller was born in New York on November 30th 1965, son of the couple of actors and comedians Anne Meara and Jerry Stiller and brother of the actress Amy Stiller. The father is of Jewish religion while the mother is of Catholic religion and belongs to the Church of Ireland. His childhood is in the sign of show business: at the age of six his father took him to “The Mike Douglas show”. Also since the age of ten he has made short films with his sister, Amy Stiller, and some friends.
The father, who immediately recognizes his talent, decides to involve him more in his activity as an actor and comedian and, after some theatrical experiences, Ben acts alongside Jerry in the 1987 film “Up and down the Caribbean” by Steven Lisbergercon.
